MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – August 4, 2008 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Two bids were received for the following:
Bids on lawn mowing and lawn care at the following locations for a two (2) year period starting May 1, 2009 through November 30, 2010 (lawn season):
Also, asking for a separate bid for Spring and Fall Clean up for the same locations:
Town Green - Rte. 57 and Clubhouse Road
Town Library - 23 Clubhouse Road
Town Hall - 241 West Granville Road
Spring Hill Cemetery - Rte 57
South Quarter Cemetery - Rivers Road
Burt Hill Cemetery -Burt Hill Road
Twining Cemetery – Rte 57
Bids will be accepted for all seven locations.
The first bid was from LaCasse Land Management LLC of $270/per week which includes trimming around all outbuildings and tombstones as well as maintaining the edging of all walkways. Fall Cleanup will be $950 for all locations which includes winter preparation for all perennial plants. Spring Cleanup will be priced at an hourly rate of $70/per hour per crew. A crew consists of 2 laborers and any equipment that will be needed. A breakout price for Twining Hill Cemetery is $50 per mow.
The second bid was from Gary O’Brien Property Services. The bid includes all mowing and trimming for all seven locations

The bid was awarded to Gary O’Brien Property Services.
Wayne Carr, updated the board with his plans for the fiscal. Some of the plans include culvert replacement, paving of Covell Road, Clark Road and Harvey Mountain Road, placement of top material on all dirt roads and cleaning of various roadside ditches.
Attorney Jeremia Pollard will be scheduled to meet with the board to discuss the draft copy of the RFP.
